We walked in wonder – I was amazed at seeing History !
I have loved History all my life –
this day I felt I walked among it !
the wall
and all the reliefs
where Presidents
have been viewed
The statues – the floor – the walls and the ceiling
spoke centuries of thought to me.
or more !
There are so many statues – that we were told –
They had to move them to another room
as the weight was causing structural damage to the floor.
That room had been closed off for interior work being done!
that was to be placed on the dome
was too heavy
so they made a lighter one
that now stands and faces
the executive branch
watching to over see JUSTICE
