On our wedding day – 6-25-1982.

Our journey began by combining two families into one with four children.

Sherry has two daughters, and I have two sons.

The daughters lived with us, and my sons lived with their mother.

Those early years were spent traveling to sports events, activities, and taking children back and forth from ex-spouses.

Schools and churches –

We had no money and made do with what we could.

We lived way out in the country in the Portville, N.Y. school district.

It was a fun time – the driveway was 1/10th of a mile long!

In the winter after it was plowed –

A place to sled ride down the gentle grade.

I would hand-mow, and it took three days!

I would rest on day four and then start over again.

The next year, we purchased a ride mower from SEARS!

I could do the whole thing in four or five hours.

Looking back on fond memories of those early years.

I write these blogs because I want to exercise my brain and the memories I have in writing and pictures.

This is my journal on life.

Maddy – our oldest granddaughter –

On the day she graduated from the University of Lynchburg –

With a degree in Environmental Science.

Today, she works for a nationwide firm in her field!

OUR LIFE – COME ALONG!

A family celebration on the beach when Sherry and I turned 75 years old in 2024!

Here are the Myers and Krohn family.

Debby and Tammy –

Sherry’s two daughters, husbands and the six grandkids.

Five granddaughters and one grandson.

Family time spent together.

The families still live back in Va., where we moved from.

When we moved, we decided to settle a day’s drive from either family.

Today we visit back and forth!

My two sons still live back in NWPA, where they were raised-

But both have made trips down, and we have made trips back to see them.

FAMILY!

Very proud of these two men.

RETIRED now for years and years.

Our senior years are now in the N.C and S.C area.

We are close to the borders of both states.
