A long – long time ago – Sherry – Maddy and Papa – when she was playing youth soccer travel team for Winchester United!

When she was a Junior – she decided she wanted to compete against the best competition –

so she would drive herself 65 miles to Loudoun County – to play against DC area travel teams.

Three times a week for practice and games on weekends.

She was recruited and selected by The University of Lynchburg womens soccer team –

She played for four years – All conference third team as a Sophomore –

All Conference second team as a Junior-

And Captain in her Senior year –

NCAA playoffs in two of the four years -

Conference champions in her Senior year!

Remember – she was just 16 when she started driving 65 miles one way to practice.

And she maintained honors both in H.S. and College!

Here she is at graduating from college – with an environmental Science degree –

and today she is working at one of the largest Environmental firms in the Country –

As a Scientist- Geologist!
