We most certainly do! LOL
While not that profound-
I do tell the days of the week by when I put the garbage out the night before!!!!
Now how do I always remember that?
Tuesday night it goes out, which means I empty all the little trash cans in the house-
One in each bathroom and two in the office!
Then make sure the main one in the kitchen is empty and a new one is put in!
Then about 5pm. –
Wheel it out from the garage and look to see if the neighbors have theirs out!
YES! It is the right day!!!! LOL!
So that day was Tuesday, and the next day they stop and dump it- WEDNESDAY!!! GOT IT!

That most likely is about right for everyone –
However, I have an internal clock!
I have never in my life set the alarm.
Just tell me what time I have to get up, and I am right there!
So – Tuesday and Wednesday are noted.
Saturdays – “ARE WE GOING TO CHURCH IN THE MORNING?” I will ask!
I know it is Saturday because I have a watch that tells me the time, day, and date! LOL!
And on my desk is my CALENDAR!
I compare my watch with that CALENDAR!
And I have my phone – SO GOES THE LIFE OF A SENIOR!
NO ALARMS, but in great need of PHONE, WATCH, and CALENDAR!

One thing I do remember and have for over twenty years –
Is my Chocolate Shake!
Crushed ice – some water – one scoop of Dutch Chocolate and then Almond milk.
Blend it, to me is like a Wendy’s Frosty!
I drink this in place of breakfast or lunch.
I find it filling enough to skip a meal and help control my weight!

This was a common occurrence for me during the Pandemic! LOL

LIFE AS A SENIOR –
For us walking the beach.
Volunteering for Protection of Sea Turtles.
And having our granddaughter – Taylor- intern for a week in July to assist in the protection – inventorying the nests and helping get the baby turtles to the water.

Here is Taylor in her last performance in a play.
Today, she plays soccer, basketball, and flag football.

Now sixteen years old –
She has ridden horses since she was four years old!

Taylor – her first time ever on a horse, and it continues to this day.
She now rides and jumps obstacles!
LIFE AS A SENIOR has given us opportunities to be with all the grandkids as they mature.
