My memory here is the twins –

Taylor and Cassidy –

We’re helping Papa clean up the leaves from our yard in Brambleton, Va.

I am thinking they were perhaps 2 to 3 years old.

If only we could turn back time and once again enjoy these precious moments!

Maddy and Ella!

I love the way Maddy has her arm around her grandma –

And how she looks at her face.

Sweet little Ella –

We called her “TINY” –

Today she stands about 5’10” –

No longer the “LITTLE” one growing up!

My two oldest longtime friends –

Bobby – we went to grade school and graduated together.

Jimmy on the right –

We played softball together in the mid 70’s and beyond –

I was at his wedding to Dottie –

We took our kids to the beach when they were young.

We worked together at AOTC-Dal-TILE-

And to this day, we still get together a couple of times a year.

The day Tammy and Marcus were married.

Opportunity came in 1999 –

We transferred to Northern Virginia for Dal-Tile.

That one door opened, and we chose to walk through!

Setting up a future that would not exist today had we not made the choice.

Tammy – who had graduated from college and was living near Rochester, N.Y.

Decided to quit her job and follow us down to NVA!

In doing so –

She met Marcus – they were married, and today we have –

TAYLOR – CASSIDY and BODE!

All because that door-opportunity opened and we went through!

Today – Taylor – Csssidy and Tammy-

Today – Marcus – Bode and Tammy.

We made that choice in 1999, and Tammy followed us to NVA!

Because of that, we have Marcus as our son-in-law and the three grandkids!

CHOICES HAVE RESULTS-

Sarah and Maddy-

Maddy has graduated from college with a Eviromental Science degree-

And works out of Fredericksburg, Va –

For a large nationwide environmental firm.

Sarah is a Freshman in college and a very gifted Graphic Design Artist.

These are two of our oldest granddaughters!

The four of us have been friends since the late 80s.

Papa- Sherry – Cindy and Buck.

Here we are at the MGM at National Harbor- Washington, D.C.

We have traveled the country and the world exploring while on vacation.

We now live about 35 miles from them and still see one another often.
