Here we are –

Almost a dozen years into retirement!

That went fast –

Leading up to it and then faster –

Once it was here!

Back in 1999, we decided to transfer from AOTC- DAL-TILE –

Located in WNY in a town called Olean!

We ended up applying and then relocating to NVA!

From farm and country to DC life in NVA!

TRAFFIC – BY- PASSES JAMMED FULL OF TRAFFIC!

Quiet life of rural America to city life!

But it was a step we took on our road to retirement.

A brand new world opened up for us –

And we adapted!

Later, after we transferred to NVA-

We attended a Health fair called NBC FOR YOUR HEALTH-

At the convention center in Washington, DC.

We changed our diets – gave up some foods and drinks, and were preparing to –

Age as healthily as we can into our SENIOR YEARS!

FOOD BECAME OUR MEDICINE and MEDICINE OUR FOOD!

We started to choose wisely.

Our senior year was coming fast!

RETIREMENT was around the corner.

We invested in our 401K and upgraded our homes from one to another-

Building equity in the long run.

We now live in the highest per capita income in the country –

THE NVA AREA!

We retired –

And then the COVID PANDEMIC HIT!

The 401K took a major hit-

But – the value of the home we had lived and retired into-

Started to go up and up!

This would become our nest egg!

SOLD!

We said our goodbyes to family-

And headed South to a warmer climate and a less expensive area to live.

We now had our pensions – Social Security – 401K rebuilding –

And our investment in our online business from Juice Plus.

This investment of $50.00 was the best thing we ever did –

It gave us a residual income – monthly!

And we could take it wherever we went as long as we had the computer and the internet.

PLUS – The research proved that we got what we wanted –

To age as healthily as we could –

Was published!

Our retirement journey brought us here!

We had this home built –

All on one level –

I got my wish list of a covered, shaded front porch-

Sherry got her office!

To this day, she continues to run her internet business.

Warm weather – close to numerous friends –

Golfing – entertainment and two beaches!

This home is large enough to house family and friends-

Yet all one level –

And the costs per month –

Allow us to live comfortably in retirement.

To this day, we have residual income.

Here we sit on the beach in July 2024 for our 75th birthdays.
