We came together on a Sunday afternoon –
some family – some friends – some friends of friends!
We have known for years – they live not too far from our house we sold.
I am hoping I get all the names correct
I am not good at names!
The house was large three complete floors
Nine bedrooms and seven 1/2 bathrooms.
Many years ago – Jim – Dottie – Sherry and I
with our families – would vacation together
at various beaches
and when they were young
I would help carry the little ones!
Here is Katie – my little friend – as she said I was the only friend she had!
I would carry her through the sand dunes
only to get to the beach and discover one of her little shoes was missing!
All these years we kid each other on being the only friends
either one of us had!
My – how the years have gone by – she is still in my heart
“MY LITTLE FRIEND”!
I hope I was able to get everyone and their names correct
