Here I am – mid 70’s –

And looking in the mirror – seeing all the past – present and hoping the future holds more!

I see family vacations and remember that this now is what we did when we were younger-

with parents and older family members-

Beach vacations with young grandkids –

who now are the parents of our grandkids!

These same friends of today –

were our young friends of yesterday!

Going on 40 plus years for some and 37 years for others-

We have maintained that friendship and now –

our children and theirs have children.

The past does seem to repeat itself!

Our grandchildren of today –

It was only yesterday so it seems that we had a similar picture taken!

This is that picture taken so many years ago –

Life goes by –

but hearts remain the same –

PEACE – LOVE and HAPPINESS!

Today our dream of beach life –

Sun – Sand and Surf –

has been realized here on the mainland of Ocean Isle Beach.

Where once again – old friends and family gather –

to live on and share dreams.

Old friends from WNY 30-plus years ago –

Standing in the Sunset of our lives –

sharing our dreams while living their own many miles away!
