It was a wonderful three days – but for Mike and Carol – they had to fly back to WNY the next day.

The rest of us had one more day and were planning to golf on Oak Island that same day.

We have been friends for 35 to 40 years.

Neighbors – and hometown friends.

For the last, two years we had gone back to WNY to visit Carol and Mike at their lake house.

This time they flew down to Wilmington.
