Papa’s World – Family visits FERRY LANDING!

This is for both daughters –

Tammy and Debby! LOL!!!!

We took Tammy, Taylor, and Bode to Ferry Landing.

This is where I took Sherry (MORMOR) during her rehab from the fall of a fractured pelvis!

Decades and decades ago –

A ferry ran here for cars and people to access the island!

We could sit in the shade and watch the boat traffic on the ICW!

In the distance – a secluded beach where dozens of boaters –

Pulled up to shore and hung out for the day!

Here is a view of the boats anchored on the beach shore,

We would spend an hour or two here –

Just watching the fishermen fish from shore or the pier.

When we arrived –

Hardly anyone was here.

We stayed maybe a half hour!

Sherry ( MORMOR) swede for MOTHERSMOTHER –

And Taylor and Bode sitting on a bench in the shade.

You can see the walkway and the fishing pier beyond them.

Across the water is Brickyard Landing and boat ramp

The Ferry would go back and forth here!

Today, it’s a huge parking lot, and here is where boats are launched into the ICW!

Later we went to Causeway 59 for lunch!

Here is a marina and canal leading to the ICW!

Thanks for reading my blog today!

It was a long weekend, and we packed a lot into it!

These are just two of the places we visited!
