Good day, all – while back in NVA – we met the family at Bluemont Station winery and brewery – just off route 7 – in the mountains!
We came to celebrate my birthday and mothers Day with the Myers family – and Tammy – the youngest daughter.
We stayed at Tammy’s – to watch the young ones while she and Marcus go away for their anniversary.
She lives in Leesburg, Va.
Mike nd Debby live in Cross Junction – Lake Holiday the other side of Winchester, Va.

Debby – Tammy (sisters) Mike (Debby’s hubby) Sherry and Papa.
This is an old plantation going back to the early 1800s.
During the Civil War, it was crossroads for the armies of the North and South.
There were hundreds of chairs and tables outside and a full menu inside as well as wine and beer stations.
There are hundreds of chairs and tables outside!

This also back in the 1800s was a railroad hub –
A working plantation and a way station for travelers.

Looking through the glass doors to the inside where the main room has wine and beer and food and tables.

A view of the old plantation house and front and grounds.

Flowers abound and everything is lush and green – they just had completed a hundred-mile bike race through the mountain’s back roads!

Mother and daughters in front of an original part of the plantation!
