Papa’s World – We are loving life!

We are living our dream – living on the N.C -S.C. border – close to so many really fine golf courses!

Our close friends live 35 minutes away and we get together often – golf and dinner.

We are so close to a couple beaches – 15 minutes and we are on the sand at either one.

We get to watch the change over every weekend – much as we did in our younger years when we vacationed at the beach – now we live it every day.

The footprints disappear only to be made over and over again each day.

No more snow and ice – yes it does get cold – but by midday, it is bearable to be out and about.

Living life one day at a time!

We have now watched our oldest granddaughter graduate from college – sad that soccer has ended with her – but happy that it continues with her sister in her junior year at college.

We have volunteered at the memory care unit and now the SEA TURTLE PROTECTION program for N.C.

WE ARE LOVING LIFE IN OUR NEAR TO BE MID SEVENTY!

Be happy – I try to think positively each day – I look for positive news articles or historical events.

Bring humor into your day – laugh and smile and greet people whom you don’t know with a smile.

After all “SMILES ARE FREE”!

I take out all the negativity I can from my life – news – papers – TV – it can calm my life and I just do not need all the noise from others!

Sunrises – sounds of the beach – birds – waves and the start of a new day!

Golfing for us is just getting out in nature – fresh air and green grass and if possible – sights along the ICW!

TAYLOR AND HER MOTHER – “THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE – LIFETIME MEMORIES!”

We gather memories in thought and pictures – lifetime events that seemed small back then but turn into LIFE!

Life is full of little thoughts – but practice in life turns into positive happenings!

Many years ago – the four of us – friends – neighbors – decided to golf – fun times – laughter and friendships!

Today – living a mere 35 minutes away – we try to get together once a week or two – golfing in our senior years!

We were neighbors – back in WNY – and we decided to try and get the girls into golfing – they wore gloves because their hands were cold – laughing at us as we washed our balls –

Now – we are senior golfers – playing mostly scrambles guys vs. gals and they mostly win!

A LITTLE THING SUCH AS GOLFING HAS TURNED INTO A BIG THING FOR US TO WITH ONE ANOTHER!

A “LITTLE” bit of humor to bring a “BIG” SMILE! HGD!

A LITTLE TRIP AND A LUNCH – BEING TOGETHER IS PART OF OUR BIG SALT LIFE!

So I wonder if this is MIDDLE AGE – SUNSET years mean you forget where all those plastic bags and Tupperware lids are? LOL

Living our unset years in OIB in N.C. – warm temps – cool ocean breezes – sand and surf – golf and walk – pickleball –

senior years can be watching and working to age healthy!

Hard to do but working on it! LOL

Eating healthy – drinking water ( and throwing in a beer once in while) maintaining and looking ahead – enjoying our dream life.

My habit for each morning – is one cup of coffee!

That is my limit and the smell in the morning of brewing coffee – to start my day!

Living near the sand and surf and sunrises over the water – LIVING THE SALT LIFE – not for everyone but for us our dream life.

When family visits – joy – laughter – smiles – great feelings – family time is our asset in life!

Family of youth helps to keep us feeling young – MORMOR and PAPA – living our life to the plus!

Our community in OIB, N.C. We selected this for its charm – tall trees – quiet – new build and close to things we want to do.

We are minutes away from two beaches and close to several more – golfing – we can choose from over 30 courses.

A number of years ago – we had this taken – today – they have all grown so much – the next picture was taken last year!

And now there is MARLY – the Goldendoodle of the Krohn family – the kids love her! LIFE WITH SHERRY!

When Cassidy was on the left and Taylor was small – this was the year SHERRY retired from Corp America! Almost 12 years ago!

Debby – and Sherry – before we went to the Elton Awards for the Juice Plus Company – have to obtain certain statuses for an invite to the company.

Debby is a QMND and Sherry is an SSC for the company. Daughter and mother working together for better health.

A number of years ago in the California wine country – celebrating life and exploration.

Sometimes eight or more years ago – beach vacation and the granddaughters and the only boy!

Note how Cassidy takes care of Bode and that remains that way to this day!

Willie is so right in this – music has always brought good vibes to us – and with friends – singing songs!

I started this blog because I wanted to leave memories for generations to come – in pictures – thoughts – words and actions!

I grew up not really knowing my cousins – aunts or uncles – my sister was 15 years older than me and my brother was 10 years older.

By the time I came along – all those cousins were already that much older than me – and I just never knew them!

The few I did know – lived in the township and went to the other schools.

So – here are my blogs for the family now to have after I am gone – to know who we were and how we lived.

Sherry – we have been married 40 plus years – my soulmate and the one who guides me in health!

We are retired and living our life out in the Carolinas – where it is warm – I do not like cold and neither does she!

We live one day at a time – always exploring and doing new things – together!

This is her and my why all these years – living life to the plus!
