They own their own businesses.

Auditing energy costs for state and major power companies.

That is one side of the company.

The other side is insulation for the elderly, for state funding!

He secures yearly contracts from the state of Pennsylvania-

And major energy and power companies for the state.

They travel a good portion of the WPA-

North to South.

Today, December 14, 2025, is his birthday!

They still live in Pa., close to where he was raised.

He is a big Dallas Cowboys fan!

He is also a ranked pool player in 8 and 9 ball!

This past year –

The team he plays with-

In Las Vegas,

Competed against teams from all over the world-

And came home as World Champions!

He is kind, thoughtful, and ready to help out!

He doesn’t drink or smoke.

He puts his heart and soul into his business and his marriage.

They were oh so small – the twins.

They were premature – the doctor said they had to come!

It wasn’t planned – nature took its course.

Today, they celebrate the three of them as one!

Today – we celebrate the little boy –

who has turned into a man –

Who can and does build anything –

ground up-

and finishing it off!

You did not get that from me-

but from my father – your grandfather –

Who could and did the same as you.

That house we would walk up to –

He built that!

The motorcycle you have and used to ride –

Well – you got that from me –

as I rode in the 70’s!

The beard is yours –

Shawn –

today is his birthday!

He runs his own Energy Auditing business on one side –

He also has an insulation business for the state –

and energy firms on the other side of his two businesses!

He contracts with the state –

and energy companies to reduce costs for low-income –

and elderly customers.

He covers the state of Pa. along with parts of N.Y.S.

He is also a ranked pool player –

winning many tournaments –

and his way to Las Vegas!

He competes as an individual –

and in team competitions!

Married to Trisha –

they reside in NWPA –

Traveling down to Pittsburg to do audits –

and also up to Erie.

inheriting many fine qualities from her parents –

Born and raised in a small community in NWPA –

in the Allehany mountains –

built by the Swedes in the 1800s – Mount Jewett, Pa.

Swedish and German decent –

Reminds me so much of her father!

Tall – smiles – humor – and a guiding light for the family.

The day we were married – 6-25-1982 – born 7-5-1949 – beautiful outside and inside.

Mother to Debby and Tammy – highly respected by both – sharing lives together – and grandchildren.

These are her heart and soul –

She would and does anything for them.

Grandkids – call her Grandma and MORMOR – MOTHERSMOTHER!

This is who she is – advocating for the rights of women and those who are looked down on.

Sherry – Troy – Papa – it is hard to believe that the years have gone by so fast – here he is another year older – the man who builds houses from the ground up – everything – he is like my father – who as a young little boy – called him “FRITZ”!

Proud Papa – today he has hung up the house building and runs the insulation and energy side of Shawn’s business. Working on becoming able to also do the audits and be certified by the state.

Kindness – patience – loving – he got all of this from my mother – who, when he was young would go and stay with her as she was alone.

Today he and Andrea live together and do everything as one – hoping they both will come back and visit us!

The parents – Mike and Debby – held a birthday party with a Halloween theme for their daughter’s sixteen birthday!

Sarah has always wanted to have a birthday party such as this and being so close to Halloween – they decided to do it!

THE SKELTON WAS THE FOCAL POINT FOR THE FOOD AND ALL OF THIS WAS SARAH’S IDEAS!

It was a hit and everyone loved it! The food was almost all gone by the end of the party and over in the kitchen were meatballs – mac-cheese – salads and rolls!

Celebrating the twin’s birthday and their mothers – all on the same day!

MEMORY – the twins came early – not by choice but the doctor said it was time at just 32 plus weeks.

It was by chance that the day he chose also happened to be the mother’s birthday!

MEMORIES of THREE BIRTHDAYS!

We moved from Great Country farm for the twins – to the winery of Bluemont.

The winery was for Tammy and family and friends – and we celebrated there for her.

Then – it was onto our home in Brambleton Va. to the patio for close friends and family.

Where we celebrated all three together with their presents.

The memory of family and close friends.

Maddy is the oldest and then Taylor the youngest – today Maddy is a junior in college – and I will post at the end a picture of them before Christmas.

This was all back in 2012 – when they turned two.

Today – they are growing up so fast.

Ella is now the tallest – 5’10” and Maddy 5’6″ – Sarah is already taller than Maddy –

and soon Taylor at 11 years old will be taller than her!

Today Tammy looks the same as she did then nine years ago.

The party was for family and friends of the family – celebrating the fraternal twins Taylor and Cassidy.

They were born early at I think 32 weeks – just so tiny – Taylor the bigger by a number of ozs.

The doctor told Tammy it was time because Taylor was getting all the nutrients.

Along with meeting up for the college soccer game – it also was to celebrate the big 50 for our daughter Debby!

We rented a AIRBNB so that we could all be together after months and months of seperation.

Along with meeting up to cheer on Maddy and Ella meeting for the first time on the pitch for a soccer game –

we also were having a celebration of a birthday for Debby.

A party was planned – dinner – and cake – masks – just a family coming together.

We strolled historic Lynchburg – and ended up at Bootleggers to have a special dinner.

Turning 50 is a milestone in life – and for Deb – she was mistaken by one of our neighbors

as being close in age to their 28 year old daughter!

She is a mother to three beautiful daughters and has a great husband Mike.

She is a CERTIFIED HEALTH COACH and QUALIFIED NATIONAL MARKETING DIRECTOR

for The Juice Plus Company.

A college graduate – a teacher in Health and Nutrition.
