Shawn and Trisha – husband and wife.

They own their own businesses.

Auditing energy costs for state and major power companies.

That is one side of the company.

The other side is insulation for the elderly, for state funding!

He secures yearly contracts from the state of Pennsylvania-

And major energy and power companies for the state.

They travel a good portion of the WPA-

North to South.

Today, December 14, 2025, is his birthday!

They still live in Pa., close to where he was raised.

He is a big Dallas Cowboys fan!

He is also a ranked pool player in 8 and 9 ball!

This past year –

The team he plays with-

In Las Vegas,

Competed against teams from all over the world-

And came home as World Champions!

He is kind, thoughtful, and ready to help out!

He doesn’t drink or smoke.

He puts his heart and soul into his business and his marriage.

Today I say to my oldest son – HAPPY BIRTHDAY my son –

I remember holding your hand –

walking up the main street of Eldred –

to your grandma and grandpa’s house.

The little blond-haired boy –

who loved both of them.

So many memories of those early years –

I wished for one day-

we could have them back

Today – we celebrate the little boy –

who has turned into a man –

Who can and does build anything –

ground up-

and finishing it off!

You did not get that from me-

but from my father – your grandfather –

Who could and did the same as you.

That house we would walk up to –

He built that!

The motorcycle you have and used to ride –

Well – you got that from me –

as I rode in the 70’s!

The beard is yours –

I couldn’t grow one! LOL

Today – is all yours –

another one in the books.

I am so proud of the man you have become –

Kind – Caring and loving –

Shawn –

today is his birthday!

He runs his own Energy Auditing business on one side –

He also has an insulation business for the state –

and energy firms on the other side of his two businesses!

He contracts with the state –

and energy companies to reduce costs for low-income –

and elderly customers.

He covers the state of Pa. along with parts of N.Y.S.

He is also a ranked pool player –

winning many tournaments –

and his way to Las Vegas!

He competes as an individual –

and in team competitions!

Married to Trisha –

they reside in NWPA –

Traveling down to Pittsburg to do audits –

and also up to Erie.

Sunrise in Leesburg, Va. on the morning of Bode’s birthday – turning nine years old!

As he sleeps – balloons greet him when he wakes up!

The living room – birthday greetings – fireplace – it was 30 plus degrees outside – but a beautiful sunrise.

Frost on the ground but a warm fire in the fireplace – and he got what he had been asking for since the beginning of last summer!

Sherry – Troy – Papa – it is hard to believe that the years have gone by so fast – here he is another year older – the man who builds houses from the ground up – everything – he is like my father – who as a young little boy – called him “FRITZ”!

Proud Papa – today he has hung up the house building and runs the insulation and energy side of Shawn’s business. Working on becoming able to also do the audits and be certified by the state.

Kindness – patience – loving – he got all of this from my mother – who, when he was young would go and stay with her as she was alone.

Today he and Andrea live together and do everything as one – hoping they both will come back and visit us!

In this picture, the eyes and smile so remind me of my older brother!

Before he went into the business of my younger son – a fireplace he built in a house he built!

The backyard became ELM STREET for the party!

CRIME SCENE with HATCHET THROWING – Sarah did this!

The entrance to the backward fire pit and crime scene!

The ELM STREET with GHOSTS – BATS – CRIME SCENE HATCHET THROWING was all Sarah’s ideas.

This was her birthday wish as she turned SWEET!

We helped with her directions – she also had a TAROT CARD reading earlier in the week.

She loves ghosts and supernatural hauntings!

She is strong-willed – beautiful and full of laughter – funny and not a MORNING PERSON!

Although they were 400 plus miles away – we were there in spirit!

We had celebrated his birthday when they paid a surprise visit for four days!

They surprised him in the morning when he came out of his bedroom!

A surprise visit – Sherry(MorMor)- Bode-Taylor-Marcus Tammy – Papa- Cassidy – family!

They called – a zoom call – the night before they left – we are going to surprise you tomorrow!

We had asked them to come down after they had stopped overnight back in August when they were passing through

for Marcus’s family vacation.

It was his mother and father and brother and sister and families.

We visited them at their beach house in Surfside – South Myrtle Beach.

So – this made us very happy to have four days with them this time!

Sherry and Tammy – she is the youngest daughter

I took Marcus and Bode golfing – while the girls went shopping with MorMor ( Swede for mothers mother)

Although his birthday would be after they returned home – we celebrated while they were here!

Taylor – MorMor ( what they call her) and Cassidy singing happy birthday to Bode!

Taylor and Bode – they both are going to be really tall – taking after Sherry who is 5’9″.

It was a special four days – playing golf – shopping -walking two beaches – showing them Clarks in Little River –

Calabash shopping – and having cake and presents for Bode’s coming birthday.

Four days is not enough – and plans for Spring break are in the making.

Christmas – for 10 or more days – we will travel back to NVA and spend time with them and our other daughter and her husband and the older granddaughters.

Looking forward to our next gathering as a family.

Papa’s World – Twins birthday – MARLEY puppy – and cousin Sarah comes to visit!

The twins turned eleven years old – Cassidy and Taylor birthday!

Yes – they are twins – and they had to be taken out early because Taylor was taking all the nourishment!

Today – Cassidy is normal for her age but Taylor is going to be real tall – like her MORMOR –

Swedish for MOTHERSMOTHER!

Sherry is 5′ 9″ and she will be taller than that.

Bode – who turns eight is also going to be tall and here is cousin Sarah – who at soon to be 15 – is gaining on Sherry!

We went back to NVA to watch the little ones and the puppy Marley – and Sarah came for overnight!

MARLEY at six months old – a puppy who likes to play keep away and run and run.

She is adorable and is a Goldendoodle – judging by her feet – she will be very large! She is so friendly and loving.

But – you must make sure to keep things out of reach as she tends to chew – thus she stood up and grabbed the hat of our son in law and that became history! LOL
