Our oldest daughter Debby and her husband Mike when they were young! MEMORIES!

My little smile for the day – a sense of humor I think keeps you thinking “YOUNG”!

When they were little – our twin girls – Cassidy in the front – Taylor behind and their mother – Tammy! SMILES!

Back in the office at A.O.T.C. (DAL TILE) in Olean, N.Y. during the run of FOUR SUPER BOWLS for the BILLS!

Tammy and Marcus and the twins – before we had Bode! Miss this time of their lives!

One of our road trips to a winery with friends – Dottie Jim and Sherry – fun times over all these past 40 years!

And I have used all the other ones when playing. LOL

Papa’s World – CONGRATS JIMMY “B” – RETIRED!

“JIMMY and PAPA” friends since 1977 – best buddies – friends – the same little town in NWPA!!!

Jimmy and I have played softball together – volleyball – golf – corporate cup competitions – family vacations – for years and years.

Friendships usually do not last that long – but this one is still ongoing – and he retired from the same company I did yesterday!

Dottie – Sherry – Cindy – Buck – Jimmy and Papa – friends all these years – neighbors – three of us worked for the same company – now all retired except Dottie who has a little over a year to go.

These friends go all the way back to 1980 – through thick and thin – NWPA and WNY – still going strong!

New years eve together for years and years – Cindy – Sherry, and Jim – starting off the end one year and the new one coming in.

Jimmy has been there since Sherry and I were married in 1982 – many vacations together with families – many times visiting each other – and soon – golfing together more often when Dottie retires.

A day on the ICW with all our friends and neighbors from back in WNY! Mike and Carol John joined us for a few days!

Papa’s World – our memories from back in time!

We were married on June 25th. 1982 – yes – our forty-year anniversary is coming up!

Sherry and me.

We brought together two sets of children – her daughters and my sons.

Those were lean years – working and trying to stay ahead.

But we managed and survived.

In the late ’60s at the American Olean Tile Plant where I started on 6-5-67.

I worked for this company which later through transition became Dal-Tile.

We merged several times with other corporations and when I retired we were Mohawk.

After 47 1/2 years, I retired from a branch in Va.

As also did Sherry as she worked for them for 32 years!

I have no regrets as I worked many jobs in many locations in two states.

And that is where we met – all those years ago.

Along the way, we have made many friends – but we have really close friends.

Papa’s World – Ever changing life – Ocean Keyes – North Myrtle Beach – friendships

Papa – walking from the beach to main street of North Myrtle Beach!

Along the way – we have friends – who after social distancing – come to visit!

And – we walk the gated community – through he gate –

and onto the beach!

The gentle surf of the beach – water and sand!

Our friendships go back years and years.

We all lived by one another – then we all moved away

but that friendship has endured time and distance.

Always from afar – but close when we make plans to get together.

Jim and Buck – Jim and I played softball together in the mid to late ’70’s Buck and Cindy were our neighbors and they also knew Jim and Dottie!

We plan golf – card games and word games!

We drink a little beer – sing a few songs – do a shot – and laugh!

We would set up a get together every 4 to 6 months –

We lived near DC – Jim and Dottie Va. Beach and Cindy and Buck – Wilmington N.C.

Now we have moved further South

about 50 miles from Buck and Cindy.

It is easy for us to get together and golf every weekend.

Jim and Dottie are now the Northerners!

We all have taken up a new game – Pickle Ball!

This last time – we got together at our condo – played two days of golf –

and Pickleball has now become another game we shall play!

We all practice good health – Sherry – who is a certified Health Coach – leads the way!

She has her own website and for 15 years has been the one who encourages all of us!

We all come from WNY and SWPA area and are big Buffalo Bills fans!

Distance may separate us – but friendship is but a zoom call away.
