My wife said to me, “You need to BLOG. You write all these stories –

and events on Facebook, and then it just disappears into the Cloud!”

“You have such a memory on what – where – who and when –

you need to put it down where you can store and conserve it!” said Sherry!

So with the help of a friend- Belinda – we met at the Brambleton Library in Va.

Spending over an hour –

she got me started on my own site –

in WordPress!

That was over six years ago.

Today – here I am –

over 1500 blogs posted –

140 more are scheduled to go as of this writing.

Family History –

and our life together these past 43-plus years!

I actually have very little of my family history –

except what was told to me –

and I remember.

Very few pictures –

No letters-

Just lots of memories –

and some pictures people have found and sent to me.

And – I am just about the only one left in my family I grew up with-

One niece who lives in the same house she grew up in

and a great-niece who lives in the house I grew up in.

This home has now been in my family for over 80 years!

I have another great-niece in Portville, N.Y. –

and My two sons –

still live in the area I grew up in.

Two grandsons from my youngest son –

have moved out of the area.

Blogging into the new year –

I try not to do politics-

rather focussing on Good Vibes- Humor – Laughs and Family – Friends –

Places – Events – Music- Neighbors – Beach and Where we live in the South.

I have over 650 subscribers –

I only know a half dozen of them.

The rest are from all over the World.

that is unbelievable –

as I never thought that would happen.

I post my blogs after midnight –

And I can see where in the World –

people are seeing my blogs.

Each time I open my site and look at the STATS –

EIGHT to TEN COUNTRIES across the World have already read my blogs!

That astounds me.

Thank you to my wife Sherry –

who inspired me to write my thoughts down.

To preserve it for future generations –

in our families to come.

Welcome to PAPA’S World !

GOOD MORNING

This is part of my story – for it has many chapters.

I have been writing – on face book –

daily – since 2011 – EIGHT YEARS !

Sherry -my wife – said –

you write so well – but I am afraid it will get lost !

YOU HAVE TO START BLOGGING –

so we can have a place to go where we can read it !

Now – I had blogged a number of years ago and had a site –

actually two sites !

But my computer crashed

and I lost all the info –

Then a couple months ago –

with the help of a friend

Belinda Vallarino Cermola

She helped set me back up again –

and by accident –

we stumbled on my second blog site that I had lost !

Here it was –

and finding it was like looking up phone numbers –

as someone who can not see with out glasses !

But – we found it while setting up my new blog site –

livinglifedoingitmyway.blog

My criteria –

Make someone smile –

Make someone happy-

No politics –

Bring light to those who are in the dark –

And help people become as healthy as possible –

I had found only FIVE blogs on that site –

The other site is still out there someplace

with hundreds of blogs –

It was all on my computer –

and I could not remember the name or password –

Someday – I hope I can once again find it –

to recapture all those stories.

Today – I am blogging one day at a time –

I really have no idea each day what I will write about –

It just happens with a picture –

a thought – a quote –

or something that I experienced recently or during my life.

I started

and changed my format –

today – I follow my criteria –

I have now been blogging daily for the past 7 plus weeks !

In that short expanse of time –

I have been fortunate to have 55 people who have subscribed to my blog !

Most I do not know

and they are from all over the World !

This has given me the hope and confidence to continue –

Hoping to bring a change –

a good vibe –

My way to help in health –

I am evolving –

I am living my life –

doing it my way – one day at a time !

And a big hug to my best friend –

the person who encouraged me to write –

MY WIFE SHERRY !

and to Belinda – who helped me to restart –

And to all of you who read my thoughts and have joined –

It does not cost anything – you get a email every time I post !
