It was a game where Pittsburg played Buffalo in a playoff game – it also was where four neighbors came together – two households were Steeler fans and two households were Bills fans –
And all four houses were close to one another – PARTY TIME making new memories!
So it goes in our Cameron Woods Community neighborhood – NFL playoffs – team spirit!
The gathering before the game – fun – shots – a few drinks and BUFFALO WINGS AND BUFFALO DIP!
Lots of food and snacks – TERRIBLE TOWELS were shaking –
Golf cart decked out – jerseys came out of closets –
and a good time had by all!
In the end – the Bills moved on – but the neighbors remained – good friends!

Our lives together began while dating in 1980 – 81 – over forty years ago.
We were married on 6-25-1982 in Portville, N.Y.
Sherry from Mount Jewett, Pa., and myself from Eldred, Pa.
The combination of her girls and my boys.
The last of my family growing up in our house – my older brother Roger – is gone now but never forgotten.
He was the only hero I had – ten years my senior – thankfully we once again reunited the last ten years of his life – he graduated from H.S. and then College and the Navy.
He never came back home to live!
Sherry – Papa – Pam and Bobby – my grade-school – Jr. high and H.S. friend –
Now – after all these years we still get together!
Friends for life – now when here a golfing buddy!
Jimmy – Dottie – Sherry – Buck – Cindy and Papa –
close friends from back in WNY and Pa.
Visiting each other – vacations – golfing – neighbors and friends from my post-H.S. days.

Once again we came back to where we lived for nine months – North Myrtle Beach and all the decorations for Christmas – along with a full moon and beautiful sunset.
Looking at the moon coming up over the buildings on Beach Blvd.
We stood just outside of 94.9 the SURF – Beach and Classic music!
The arch near the beach entrance – here they have live music during the Summer season.
A look at main – street in all its glory lit up for Christmas.
We were here during the Pandemic and no one was on the street or in the shops – so sad!
On the beach looking up the beach at the full moon rising!
And then turning around a seeing the sunset in the beginning of an evening sky – the best of both worlds!

PAPA’S WORLD – BACK TO NORTH MYRTLE BEACH – WHERE WE LIVED FOR NINE MONTHS!
To start off your day with humor – and smiles! LOL!
Our young grandson – Bode – invited his friends to the ION INTERNATIONAL TRAINING ICE SKATING FACILITY in Leesburg, Va.
It is a huge facility with a hockey-sized arena with seats on one side and another hockey-sized arena on the other side for free skating!
Bode – third from left – with his friends in the rink – they had such a good time – they also had a private room where they went for cake and pizza and presents.
Here they are in the entrance to the rink – such fun – I watched them for an hour or more!
The other side is where the hockey side is and also a training center for the Olympics and you can see some of them skating!

The whole bunch of friends with Bode –
BODES BIRTHDAY AT ION INTERNATIONAL TRAINING SKATING ARENA IN LEESBURG, VA.
Recently we went to the ION SKATING rink for our grandson’s birthday party –
In Leesburg, Va.
Where – we walked into the other half of the building and to our surprise –
INTERNATIONAL SKATING pairs for the Olympics were training!
I talked to the mother of the girl in the above picture – who is from Georgia – the country – and they had just flown in from France.
She told me there are three sites across the country – Salt Lake City – Michigan and here at ION in Leesburg, Va. that are the elite of training sites!
In this picture, you can see the USA pairs for ice skating being instructed by the coach for the USA OLYMPIC TEAM!
There were pairs from Georgia – France – Poland – Great Britain and the USA here that day.

The mother told me they had moved to Leesburg so her daughter could train at ION.
This is a hockey arena and it is really nice – there are teams that play here although not the NHL.
I was very surprised at the size and how nice it was way out here in the country.
We had no idea when we came for the birthday party being held on the other side of the wall
in an exact-sized rink
but without the seats that this was going on .
I only found it as I had asked to go into the rink to see it!
