Folkart – sold to every state in the Union and all over the world.
Windows painted from the back to the front!
Mary has a unique style – painting from the back of the glass panes to the front so that it looks as if it were painted on the front of the glass pane!
The quilt work look-alike painting!
Room after room after room after room!
Every bit of space is used to display the Folkart!
House after house – was built with bottle walls!
I think someday this all will be very valuable FOLKART!

We had lists of things to see and do while they were here for twelve days!
The downtime was also on those lists and arts and crafts for each of them.
Keeping three kids on the go – with rest times.
Bode and the crafts he made – along with his stuffed shark.
While he did the crafts by himself – we had to read a lot of the instructions to him so he would understand them. He will be in second grade in the fall.
He did very well and made the contraption to pick up items from the floor.
Taylor with her crafts – the picture frames they all picked out the colors.
She would much more like to ride a horse but she was game and made the things you see here
even stitching the leather notepad holder.
She is our reader – books and books – always reading.
This is Cassidy’s element – she loves her arts and crafts!
She is so talented – making things – she made the cards – painted the switch plate covers –
painted rocks and copied the American flag that President Bush painted – exactly like he did.
Cassidy’s drawing with a pencil.
Cassidy’s other little girl drawing.
The list was long – but downtime was important and it showed in the arts and crafts.

I painted the floor of the front porch on my birthday!
The day before my birthday – we celebrated by going golfing with our close friends.
Then – after dinner at the club – we drove off into a beautiful sunset.
The beginning of our drive home to the west and Cameron Woods Community.
It was such a pleasant drive after an afternoon of golf!
The next day was my birthday and I celebrated by painting the front porch floor – relaxing in my own way – quiet time spent doing what I like best – improving our new home!
I have wanted to do this for a long time – but had to wait for the warranty to fix the crack and fill it in – and then I sanded off and put two coats of paint down – took me a few hours but I loved what I was doing on my birthday!

Papa’s World – beautiful sunset – celebrate my birthday by painting the front porch floor!
When we decided to build a new home – we made our selections – but there were things we wanted that had to come after the build – they – the builders did not offer them!
We had a list of things – small – and we had to either hire them done – or do them ourselves / some had to do with landscaping!
Those we hired to be done – involving planting trees – taking out pine straw – replacing with stones and rocks.
And putting in yards of mulch.
Having already removed everything from the outdoor patio – I put down two coats of outdoor concrete paint!
This we had wanted to do from the start – along with doing the same to the enclosed covered lanai.
Here – Sherry and I placed all the furniture from inside outside so I could prep and paint!
When you get old – crawling around on concrete does a number on your knees and feet!
So – I folded up old towels – four of them and would spread them out – so I could move along and paint the trim areas.
But – being old – I still needed to stand up after reaching the end of the four towels – just to stretch those muscles!
The enclosed lanai – working my way from that end to the door that opened up on the patio.
The final stretch – the open door!
It took me two days but I did it! Cross this off the list – and now to put it all back together again.
The end product – inside the lanai!
Inside looking outside to the outdoor patio.
At last, we are done with this project – cross it off the list!
Being old does not mean you can not accomplish a planned project – I know my limitations –
The feeling when done – is worth all those aches and pains!
