Papa’s World – Eating out – Social Distancing – being careful.

Every morning with exception to heavy cloud cover – we wake up to this!

Welcome to Papa’s World – from North Myrtle Beach – in S.C.

Where we have temporary taken up residence!

The abnormal has now become the normal!

We sold our home of 14 years in NVA.

Stayed with our daughters for over two months

packed up and came South – searching for were and what we want to do next!

Sherry – at Hickory – just down the street – keeping social distancing – staying away from crowds and wearing our masks when out.

We have searched out and found places to visit – usually once a week we venture out to eat.

Always being aware and checking them out ahead of time.

Almost all have conformed to Covid19

Spacing out tables and we choose to be there early

before the normal dinner or after the normal lunch crowd.

And if we can not do this – then we order pick up and go!

We are in our dream place – beach – warmth – things to see and do – and GOLFING!

We found this by accident – and we knew we had to try it out!

Every day we walk and include the beach in that walk.

Yes – we are doing this!

But – we still believe in and practice Social Distancing!

The wide open beach is easy to do as you get nowhere near anyone.

Walking also is no problem as we stay far away from people and they also do the same.

And as you can see in the pictures here – our time to be there – lowers the risk.

Lowering the risk – only going in when it is like this!

Again – we limit this to maybe once a week.

There is a greater risk in shopping for food – although 99.9 % of the people

honor wearing masks – after all – it is not only yourself you are protecting

but those whom you come close to!

Common sense –

NO SHOES – NO SHIRT – NO MASK – NO SERVICE!

It is not a RIGHT QUESTION

But THE RIGHT OF THE ESTABLISHMENT!

Today we live in a not normal World anymore.

The virus is real – and easy to catch.

The numbers are what overwhelms the establishements health care.

In large population centers – the volume –

critical patients – will take up bed space

leaving those with other life threatening illness

no place to go – as the ICU’S fill up!

COMMON SENSE!

Practicing social distance – courtesy – common sense

We are extending our stay here until the end of June

at which time we are hoping our build will be done.

Yes – we decided to build –

one half hour away into N.C.

Where we will still have this – walking the beach – social distancing.

Where we dream to be.

Papa’s World – to my son – Happy birthday Troy!

Third row down – third picture – 3rd. grade – my eldest son Troy Fitzsimmons!

Blong hair – holding my hand as we walked up the street –

every morning for those early years –

I would take him and go to my parents house –

just him and me to see his grandma.

Troy – a few years ago at my youngest sons wedding
Troy – a plaque – for his best friend – who passed away there in a four wheeler accident

Troy has always had a heart of gold – never married –

but raised children not his own.

Today they all call him – still keep in touch with him.

He is a very special man!

He can construct and build anything – a house from the ground up!

Outdoors man – hunter – kind – gentle –

and a beard – a full beard!

A man you want on your side

covering your back

but also a man who would give the shirt off his very own back!

He has heart and soul!
Today with his lady friend – Andrea – they make a wonderful pair.
A die hard Steelers fan

Wishing you my son – a happy birthday – the little guy with blond hair no more – a man all grown up – proud – my son.

” I see before me a man – a child – a son – that I cherish”

Papas World – a little bit of this and that!

Healthy eating – healthy living – healthy lives –

That is what we try to do each and every day!

NOT EASY by a long stretch!

But then neither is life.

You can only try once – and try to make it count!

Just kidding but found it amusing!

Giving and taking –

talking and listening –

another life’s relationships

Sometimes it works

sometimes it doesn’t

But it is well worth the effort!

Yes we do – and little ones as well!

We all come in different shapes and sizes –

Different levels of tone –

some we can tune out

others we tune into

But – what is incredible is understanding

all we have to do is listen – listen – listen

instead we do not hear

and when it becomes silence

then we wish that once again we hear them.

Our loved ones are always in our memories – even their voices.

Life has changed ever so much during my years here.

From plastic records – to radio –

8 track and cassettes

To disks

Now wireless and tic tok

rver changing – going forward

And the beat goes on –

The music plays in your minds

We all march to its beat in different ways.

Life is full of music and I love it!

Papa’s World – in today’s World – being POSITIVE !

I find myself looking – looking and looking to see POSITIVE !

GOOD MORNING

I try to find it always – I force myself to think it –

I believe in it therefore I find it !

Positive thinking for me has become routine.

And it has been that way my entire adult life.

My Motto

END – Effort never dies – I look for other ways –

FAIL – First attempt In Learning – I read – I watch – I search – then I process-

NO – Next Opportunity – when one door closes – open another & another –

I see opportunities – I see chances – I try to see both sides –

Give what you can

I do not have a lot – but I give what I can –

Mind – Soul – Laughs – Smiles – Greetings –

Those are FREE –

A simple act

An older couple – a diverse couple –

I later learned from India –

I was sitting on my front porch –

It started to sprinkle –

They stopped under my tree for shelter – it rained harder –

I asked them to come onto the porch –

The wind picked up –

I invited them inside until it passed –

They were grateful –

BEING KIND –

Looking – looking and looking – finding positive –
