Papa’s World – Keeping POSITIVE thoughts in these times!

This can be tough with today’s constant bombardment of pointing fingers –

taking sides and the untruths that are out there.

But – I find that concentrating on the positive –

Thinking and planning ahead –

to just get your mind off of negativity –

goes a long way in reinforcing your positive side!

Planning a trip – vacation –

Family and friends – or just a getaway.

Walking the beach is a great way for me to lose myself and be creative.

Going to the local Home Depot or Lowes and walking around the garden centers.

Forming thoughts about where to put next year’s new flowers.

Greeting people with a smile – it’s FREE!

Meeting up with friends –

being on the golf course is a way for me to be positive!

I AM POSITIVE AFTER THAT GREAT SHOT THERE WILL BE MORE!

After all – that is what brings me back! LOL

Thinking – planning – seeing –

all combine to either make or break your day.

It is yourself that determines your thought process –

SMILE – HAPPY THOUGHTS – KINDNESS – HELPING –

Just a few reinforcements of POSITIVE THOUGHTS!

The Sun rises over the meadow –

flowers are blooming in bright vibrant colors!

Today is your day –

One to put your stamp on it!

This will be the start of a brand new day-

and new thoughts –

Make them positive –

Lose the stress –

BE YOU!

Come with me –

practice positivity –

look for the beginning of each day –

and mold it into a reflection –

of what YOU want it to be –

let go of the news outlets –

THIS IS YOUR DAY – MAKE IT YOUR DAY – POSITIVE BEGINNINGS – PEACE OF MIND!

KEEPING POSITIVE THOUGHTS IN THESE TIMES!

Papa’s World – we got a letter from Bode – “I love you Papa and Mor Mor”!

Bode – around three years old

The letter was in the mail – it was from our son in law

We knew it was coming – he was forwarding some mail to us.

But – inside was a surprise – a letter from our six year old grand son BODE!

He started virtual kindergarten from home this year!

Because of how his birthday falls – his parents held him back .

Instead of being the youngest in his class – he now is the oldest.

The letter above is something I cherish – when we stayed with them

after we sold our house – every morning before 6 am.

Down the stairs he would come to their finished basement.

We had a bedroom – bathroom – living room – storage room and another living room!

He would climb up on my lap as I wrote my blog.

Papa – what are you writing about today? He would ask!

This was everyday – he would spend time with me – before he headed upstairs.

On the back of the letter – he drew a picture – a Su bmarine! LOL

He calls us both – using a type of zoom message system.

He tells us what he has been doing – or showing his latest toy.

The night before we moved to S.C – we had a fun night out with the family.

This week – the week of 2-15-21 – as I write this blog ahead of time to post later

For the first time – he will get on the bus by himself – and go to school.

He needed it – as learning from home is just not for him.

So – for two days a week – he goes to school – the other three is virtual.

His sisters are doing all virtual as they love it and are doing good.

His mother’s post on face book.

Papa’s World – education has been regulated to the home!

As grand parents and as Parents – trying times are ahead

I never imagined we would be doing this –

monitoring school – class – and a kindergarten first time student!

Set up number two!

We had them all set up and then had to move them.

First – there would be too much distraction for Bode

being in the same room with the twins.

Then we had to move Cassidy

because of feed back from Taylor’s monitor!

After the second set up for Bode upstairs

Tammy had to move him because the lighting was not good

His teacher could hardly make him out

so he got better light in front of the living room window!

He is all set up and is interested in what he is doing

and raises his hand to speak!

He has the computer skills and is learning fast on how to navigate!

Taylor’s classroom

Taylor is the only one to remain in her original chair!

Cassidy wanted to move – and Taylor was happy

to stay where she was!

Taylor and Sherry at my desk site

Taylor is the quiet one – and a very good student.

She listens the best of the three.

She was very happy not to move

Has her blanket to stay warm –

this is in the basement – and cooler down here.

She has all her things and animals

and arranged for her to reach.

Yesterday she got dressed for horse back riding

and at TEN YEARS OLD

comes up to Sherry’s shoulder

Sherry is 5′ 9″!

Cassidy’s desk – notice how neat and organized everything is!

Cassidy wanted to be the one to move –

we set up our table in the back room with the flowered sectional.

They use this as the playroom and there is a huge closet

and that is where she moved all the toys by herself

so we could set up the table!

Cassidy with her favorite stuffed animal and one sitting on the table as if watching!

She is the neatest of the three – well Bode has a neat bedroom

but he is all boy and tends to leave whatever he is playing with

and moving onto the next thing.

But – she has to have everything in it’s place

all neat and in rows!

She knows if you move anything!

She can be the sweetest little girl

in her little voice – but she can also be the opposite.

Of the three – she clings to MorMor

asking the questions of when we are leaving

and when she will see us again.

She always makes it a point to say goodnight or goodbye.

Tammy Bode Taylor Cassidy

Tammy was the first one to follow us to NVA

We made the trip back to Rochester to pack her up

and she moved down to live with us.

She is quiet about the move – but like Debby who is very emotional

about us leaving – she is also.
