The three Swans that were here first are gone – so we are told.
Seems the Male chased one and in doing so – at another pond –
It somehow broke it’s neck!
Then they found one that had been bitten by a snake!
The third – we just do not know and we were told this by a couple who live here!
These two were reintroduced by Wildlife management
we were also told!
I have watched them fly in and land –
right across the view we have on the fourth floor!
I have also watched them take off –
and fly down to the other end of the small lake.
It is a very loud noise as they beat their wings and take off!
I watch them sleep on the banks during the day in the sunshine.
And – in the moon light at night see two white shapes floating just below us!
There are other groups of water fowl
Different types of Ducks – Geese –
Birds from the Ocean a half mile away!
But – I love the Swans the most!
