Papa’s World – The News – I do not watch!

I live my life for Family – Wife and Independence –

I am registered as an Independent –

And I do not watch cable news!

I do not want to be told what to believe or watch slanted networks’ opinions!

I read – I listen –

And I want facts!

I want truth – and I despise those who twist all of the above.

All of the above, I tried to live up to in 2025.

I have strong convictions –

That runs to both the right and the left!

I am middle of the road-

Life is short –

In our senior years –

We try to help where and if we can.

We worked all our lives –

We had 79 1/2 years of service to one company.

We love our country-

We love our families and friends.

I can say I can determine what is true or false –

I can and do fact check.

Our life together –

Our senior years together-

Respect for law and order-

Truth and Justice-

That is who we are.

We researched –

We read,

And we tried it out!

TWENTY YEARS AGO!

And have not missed a day since.

Papa’s World – A journey through life!

The ending of a day with the sunset!

Here in Cameron Woods Community –

We get Sunrises and Sunsets from in front of our home.

The journey of the sun across the sky –

Tends to be like our journey of life here near the ocean and the borders of N.C and S.C.

Our life is living one day at a time!

Sherry, as to what I call “THE GOOD WITCH” of Lindley Lane!

Here she is dressed up for our community’s Halloween party at the Community Center.

I WENT AS “JUST TOM”! LOL

Many times in the past, I have dressed up. But this year, I just could not get into it!

OLD AGE – SENIOR MENTALITY –

But I was happy to be “JUST TOM”!

So many times I have heard “THINGS” that are better left unsaid!

Those “THINGS” are just not true when checked out –

Yet that does not seem to bother that person!

I ask “WHY” to myself?

I have no answer –

That is my “WHY” I do not watch news stations –

Or listen to the radio podcasts.

Life is too short to be all wrapped up

In beliefs that go contrary to my beliefs.

The TRUTH is out there – just take the time to find it!

A POSITIVE outlook on life for me!

Our happy place – our home and our front porch-

Where I sit and watch the neighbors go by and wave.

LIFE IS GOOD!

For twenty years, we have practiced this concept.

As SENIORS, we are aging and taking care of our own HEALTH and NUTRITION!

What we started twenty years ago and take daily!
