The Greg Rowles Legacy Theater is only thirty minutes from our home in Cameron Woods!

While we live just across the border in N.C. –

There is a ton of Entertainment in S.C.

In the North Myrtle Beach area and Myrtle Beach.

Barefoot landing – House of Blues and The Alabama Theater!

And in Broadway on the Beach – shows and rides, and a huge boardwalk.

Carolina Opera is just down from the above, and there are other venues in between.

On Ocean Isle Beach –

for five months- May to September-

Open-air free concerts for the public.

Named Carolina Beach Bands!

Sunset Beach – Callabash – Shalotte-

Also have concerts-

Free to the public.

There are festivals all year round-

In the warmer weather.

I love music –

And I love BEACH MUSIC-

I listen to 94.9 THE SURF every day!

North Myrtle Beach –

For over 80 years –

Has become what is called “THE SHAG DANCE” –

It is famous and on their water tower –

A couple dancing to the “SHAG” is pictured.

Every four months,

They have a two-week festival,

And the whole town participates.

North Myrtle Beach celebrates every year on St. Patrick’s Day with a parade and festival.

My ancestors go way back to County Tyrone in Ireland!

The Fourth of July day parade!

On Ocean Isle Beach –

They have several parades each year.

Along with the above –

Memorial Day – Christmas – and other celebrations.

We also celebrate a healthy lifestyle!
