Living life to the plus –

Every day presents a new view and challenge.

A trip to the post office,

And the grocery store to pick up items.

Doctor appointments ( seem more as we age)!

Meet-ups and lunches(Sherry),

Not me so much.

Life has many events and meanings.

CALENDARS- play a prominent role in our lives.

It seems in retirement –

We are so busy, in these times –

We are doing the best we can!

One wonders –

How did we ever find time to work?

In these times,

We are doing the best we can!

All of the above!

We are living our lives to the plus every day.

Since my heart attack –

I live life one day at a time!

LIFE IS GOOD!

I AM BLESSED!

I AM THANKFUL!

A LITTLE LAUGH FOR THE DAY!

Give what you can!

Help when you are able!

Listen to all and not judge.

IN A WORLD WHERE YOU CAN BE ANYTHING- BE KIND!

Yes, I do!

Papa- Sherry – Dottie – Cindy – Buck and Jimmy!

We all grew up in the WNY-NWPA area, just miles apart.

Part of LIVING LIFE TO THE PLUS –

Is have lifelong friends.

Getting together –

Sharing laughs and events.

Raising Families –

Vacations – golfing – games and music!

I would not change a thing!

Today is Christmas day – celebrated worldwide – and once again we are with family.

The joy of family-giving – comforts of home – warmth and yuletide greetings!

Today I wish all of you JOY – thank you for being a part of my life in the BLOG WORLD!

Today I give thanks to family – both near and far – thoughts – words and memories –

always cherishing – always thinking and always praying for memories to be made.

Today we partake in a meal – today we laugh – today we smile and today we make yet another memory!

From the both of us – to all of you – HAVE A JOYOUS MERRY CHRISTMAS – BLESSED ARE WE TO HAVE YOU!

I find myself looking – looking and looking to see POSITIVE !

GOOD MORNING

I try to find it always – I force myself to think it –

I believe in it therefore I find it !

Positive thinking for me has become routine.

And it has been that way my entire adult life.

My Motto

END – Effort never dies – I look for other ways –

FAIL – First attempt In Learning – I read – I watch – I search – then I process-

NO – Next Opportunity – when one door closes – open another & another –

I see opportunities – I see chances – I try to see both sides –

Give what you can

I do not have a lot – but I give what I can –

Mind – Soul – Laughs – Smiles – Greetings –

Those are FREE –

A simple act

An older couple – a diverse couple –

I later learned from India –

I was sitting on my front porch –

It started to sprinkle –

They stopped under my tree for shelter – it rained harder –

I asked them to come onto the porch –

The wind picked up –

I invited them inside until it passed –

They were grateful –

BEING KIND –

Looking – looking and looking – finding positive –

Papa’s World – Thanksgiving day – testing the water – walking the beach!

Thanksgiving day – we stayed home – cooked some small turkey breast – mashed potato’s – stuffing – and went for a walk on the beach!

In my 71 years – I have never spent Thanksgiving near the beach –

let alone – on that day – go for a walk – in short sleeves and shorts!

I was surprised at just how many people were on the beach – both ways we looked and this is what we saw!

While everything was baking in the oven – we had bought all the trimmings at Costco!

We decided to just walk down in the sunshine – it was mid 70’s –

And see if the water was warm – thinking there would not be a whole lot of people there!

WRONG – a lot of people were down there!

I guess a lot of people come here for this week at reduced rates!

So – we started our walk – and sure enough – I was drawn to the water –

I took my sandals off –

as I could see a lot of people in the surf and swimming beyond the surf!

To my surprise – it was not that cold –

And I do not like cold water!

I walked in and after the initial feeling of the water

I started walking the surf!

I never thought I would be doing this let alone on Thanksgiving Day!

Now that we have decided to build instead of buying

We will be within a four mile drive to several beaches.

So I am beginning to think of tradition!

And – who is to say – if it is nice the day after –

Walking the beach the day after Thanksgiving!
