Papa’s World – Riding the METRO’S SILVER LINE!

In October 2024 – we were in NVA at our daughter’s house-

We asked all three grandkids if they wanted to journey into D.C. –

on the METRO LINE!

Cassidy said no-

as she had cheerleading practice –

But Taylor and Bode were excited and –

we were off!

Here we just boarded the Silver Line in Ashburn –

About five miles from where we previously lived!

On our way,

we passed through the DULLES AIRPORT –

This was one of the stops.

So convenient if you are traveling by plane!

The grandkids were eying it all!

The ride in was a little over an hour long –

But so glad we did this as parking in D.C.-

was almost non-existent!

At each stop they could see where we were –

and then under the river!

We never had to depart –

except once when the bathroom was needed –

and we got right back on!

This section of the METRO was not open when we moved-

Although it had been built!

She does a ton of mail-order business of upscale kids’ brand clothes.

She takes pictures and posts on her site – and will ship them to you!

Every three months – the inventory turns over –

Boys upscale brand name clothes

The prices are identified in the pictures she posts – she accepts only brand names.

Little girls brand name clothes

Her store also is open for walk-ins – closed on Mondays.

I believe the hours are noon to five.

provides upscale brand name clothing for children – babies – boys and girls – and maternity clothes.

On Facebook, you can join and then see everyday clothes and prices –

Place your order and she will ship it to you!

Every quarter it seems we receive a magazine from our Community HOA.

It is full of information – events and very colorful.

To our surprise – there was our daughter – her husband & children

And a very nice article on their family and her business

We had no idea and she never mentioned it !

It has now been I believe 19 months since she opened.

The whole store is stocked with high – name brand –

children’s clothing on a three month consignment.

Each month – the items are marked down

At the end of three months – you can pick them up

or she will donate them to Good will!

Our town center

She posts pictures everyday – and a lot of her business is over the internet.

She then ships all over the country!

Shipping , I believe is reasonable –

Walk ins are her other customers.

Much of the clothing is brand new

never worn with tags still on them.

And the inventory completely changes over every three months!
